L I T E R A T I   M A G A Z I N E has been in the exceptionally fortunate position to be in direct contact with several very special and courageous individuals who have risked their lives and safety over the past several weeks, during these exceptional

BLACK LIVES MATTER peaceful, yet very dangerous protests, especially in MILWAUKEE.

Among these is photographer H A N N A H   B I L L E R  who has very generously shared several photographic essays, from the early days of mandatory voting to the throngs of protestors, to now the incredible artistic voices taking to pavement and mural artistry.

In the coming days, L I T E R A T I  M A G A Z I N E  is hosting a CIVIL RIGHTS SPECIAL PORTFOLIO FEATURE  so we can showcase every single photograph and let the photographs and the artwork  do what they do best, continue this exceptional and historic story.

We would appreciate more such visual essays from other cities, and not only America.

CIVIL RIGHTS STORIES are happening across the globe. LET US NOT BE SILENT . . .
