Pale Sapphire

Rake me low with the bluest nails,
charred bliss on back
at daybreak
Fill me with your celestial frost,
joy in the mineral at nightfall

Waste me with the rarest wrath,
a forever pyre on which to burn
Heal me with your crystalline voice,
a lover’s alchemy in soft lineament

Circle me, fervently, orbit of eros,
the volta of opiate atmospheres
Devour me with boundless embrace,
the erasure of wayward singularities

Reside with me in arcadian heart,
benevolence for the mortally bound
Parish with me from dim memory,
pale sapphires in the service of dust.
